Green Belt Route

You like imposing castles, hilly landscapes and impressive panoramas? Then discover the green outskirts of our capital around Brussels: uphill and downhill through the land of Bruegel, hops, grapes and chicoré.
Cycle past old castle ruins, large farms and enchanted castles - the signs of the former wealth of the
region. And this richness is still there, because the pajottenland is a harmonious mixture of hills, fertile valleys and streams that meander through the landscape.
Take a break in Meise and imagine yourself in the impressive botanical garden in the jungle, make a pit stop at the small church of Sint-Anna-Pede or have a picnic in the Tervurenpark.
Tired cycled? Then end the day on a terrace in the evening sun, with a well-deserved beer such as the regional Lambic, Gueuze or Kriek. Santé!
