In the shadow of the beautiful nineteenth-century Castle of Huizingen lies a vast domain of +/-91 ha. with all kinds of activities for everyone:
A lake, in which you can go for a row, is situated around the castle or if you wish, you can choose the pedal boat. A tourist train can also bring you to the most beautiful spots in the park. For the little ones, a ride with an electric mini car is a guaranteed success (during summer season from 1st April to 30th September).
The forest with numerous deciduous and other specific trees is a hikers paradise. In the months of April and May, the ground is covered with a carpet of flowers such as bluebells.
Free access for inhabitants of Beersel
If you are an inhabitant of Beersel, admission to the provincial domain is free upon presentation of your identity card (or kids-ID for children). Children under 12 who have no kids-ID, need a childrens pass: Please contact the tourist office of Beersel for more information.
